I Pray We’ll All Be Ready

Praise the Lord! Have you ever listened to a song and it touched your spirit in such a way that you start crying when you think about the goodness and grace of God in your life. If you ever get a chance to listen to the Chicago Mass Choir minister the song, “I pray we’ll all be ready, please do. I can watch them minister that song 100 times on Youtube and never get tired. It is so real. It really ministers to me each and every time that I hear it. Will we be ready? Will I be ready?

My prayer is always Lord, help me to accomplish all that you have placed me on this Earth to do. I believe that we all have a mission on Earth to complete. At the end of this journey called life, I want to hear the words, Enter into my rest, thy good and faithful servant. Yes sir, that is my goal and my eternal vision.

We are truly living in the last days and whether we like it or not, our Savior will be returning shortly. Forgive me if I sound like a Bible thumper today, but the day is far spent. The day is coming where no man can work. Let us search our heart and stop playing church. We all need help in some area or another, but His grace is sufficient. Let us not live as if we serve a blind, deaf and mute God. Our God is alive and well.

Lord, in your abundant mercies, remember your children, and when the trumpet blows, it is my prayer that We Will All be Ready For Your Return.

Let this not be our final story. Too late.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker, and I also work outside of the home. Life has its struggles but I am not complaining. It could always be worse. Many lessons learned on my journey and many more to come--I am sure. God has a sense of humor and I have certainly learned how to laugh at myself. You should too-it is quite therapeutic. After all, some things we cannot change so why not enjoy a good laugh at our own expense. See you soon.
